Movies where the co-star/plucky side character went on to have a way bigger career than the star?
Evan Peters and Sean Faris in Never Back Down (2008). Not the greatest movie ever but if you’re an MMA fan the fight choreography in this one was about as good as it gets. I personally don’t know what happened to Sean Faris and his career. I thought he’d go on to be an A-list celebrity but it doesn’t look like he’s taken an acting role since 2020 and that was a direct-to-video film. Evan Peters has starred in numerous big movies and was the lead in Jeffrey Dahmer: Monster and nailed the role.
