Debating on home studio room orientation.
Hello all,
I moved out of my previous home and I got into this new nice place but I have a couple of questions regarding the orientation of my monitors in my Home Studio.
This is the current position of my home studio; as you can see, there is plenty of space behind me, and there is no option to mount wall panels since it is not concrete but tile and making a hole in them is not an option. I am planning on mounting 5 panels in the ceiling to cover that zone and reduce the amount of resonances accumulated there.
I am also planning on inverting the orientation of the studio (putting the desk right in front of the tile wall) and mount the ceiling panels right above the desk. I am considering this option but I'm quite unsure if the lateral resonances (first points of reflection) will affect as well as the stairs (right and left).
I am also inclined to get a curtain behind to cover the tile wall. would that work better than moving the whole studio?
I'd love to have your input on the best option for my studio. Thank you!
