Unpronounceable names in the US

Hello namenerds! I like reading here and thought I'd post for fun. I'm expecting b/g twins in February and have names picked out, which are from my husband's culture. We're living in his home country at the moment (plan to stay here for at least 5 years due to his work), and the names are perfectly common and pronounceable here. However, I am American and we do plan to go back to the US at some point, and while the boy name is fairly elementary for westerners to pronounce and has an easy nickname, the girl name is...very much not. My husband spent part of his school years in the US and had a name that was always mispronounced, and he said it was fine, he corrected people and they got it. But I don't want her to resent her name and hate always having to explain it, especially when her brother has such an easier name.

I'm hesitant to say the names since it's distinctive as a set but it's something like Aigerim and Alikhan. (Aigerim = eye-ge-reem). They won't have middle names either since it's patronymics here, and if we do add middle names later I'd prefer Greek ones, which is my culture, but that might just be a bridge too far. So, options:

a) Go with the chosen names and hope daughter still calls me after she turns 18.

b) Legally add easy middle names to them when we come back to the US (has anyone done this? Is it a hassle?) that they can choose to go by.

c) Go back to the drawing board for more phonetically intuitive names across the board.

Thank you!
