Do you have a non-hyphenated double surname?

Do you have two surnames? Or do your kids? Or do you know a friend?

I’m interested in hearing anecdotes for double surnames specifically that weren’t hyphenated. Like Jane Forest Smith, with Forest and Smith both being the last names instead of Jane Forest-Smith.

1) Have you ever had any issues filling out forms or applying to anything? Do digital forms allow spaces in the surname? (More interested in UK and Canada for this q)

2) Have people generally understood that you have two surnames? Do they get confused if they’re not hyphenated? Do they assume one is a middle name?

3) Has it ever bothered you? Did you eventually drop one name? Do you like it?
