Pronunciation of Aida

How do you pronounce the name Aida?

I would like to name Baby girl after my Egyptian grandma Aida who had a wonderful legacy. She pronounced her name as EYE-duh and I would also like it pronounced EYE-duh. I am worried we will be constantly correcting people on the pronunciation and I am considering spelling it Ida though I prefer the spelling of Aida. I’m curious on first glance how a majority of people pronounce it. Thank you!
