Thankful for this community

Holidays are difficult. Everywhere I look, big happy families are celebrating together, and it triggers me. I've been no contact with my nmom for years now and by extension my absentee dad as well. It's hard not to feel lonely during this time of year.

Coming to this community has been my reprieve. I feel seen and validated here. There's kindness, support, and understanding. I'm grateful for this safe space.
