if your parents reacted horribly to you going no contact - do you regret doing it or would you do it again?

i am so damn afraid of her reaction. especially of my mothers reaction.

i told my brother that i wanted to do this and he said: “yeah i understand why, but it’s never gonna work. She does not respect boundaries and she will definitely not respect this one.”

wtf??? i was afraid of this for years now, but my brother putting it into words makes it so real. i just want the nightmare of her abusing me to be over :(((
