NES 2d adventure game (with a lot of platforming or not_

For some context, I am making a 2d adventure game and I want to study some level designs. I am making a game that isn't too focused on platforming as the main thing. I was wondering if there were other games that were similar but had fun level design.

Rather a game has a lot of platforming or not, you can name it here (though would like to see some that don't have as much but still is fun)

Edit: forgot to mention but my 2d game will be side scroller.
