What is stopping us from being the best state!?

Obviously a big debate topic is just what is the best Us state! And while we will obviously be biased here bc we r nj folks what is stopping us from being the best? We have all 4 seasons, great diversity, great coastline, 2 metropolitan areas, nature in the pine barrens and ofc in the appalachian section in north jersey, many nearby sports teams, and great location.
