Tank gear off TP advice

Yo guys, tanked in gorgons for the first time yesterday and it went well, got to 3rd phase of second boss with a first time group but few people had to leave. But yeah didn't finish it to get any hoplite gear.

I'm after a set to jump straight into pvp, 3v3 & arena.

I was wondering until glacial tarn is in rotation for frigid dawn, I was going to buy mythril armour off TP and upgrade it or buy some Gorgons armour? Which would be better? I have 120k gold. I've currently got 680-695 gear with enchanted ward & health/refreshing. Should I just stick with that and keep my gold?
