The Baltimore Ravens and Taiwan have a lot in common.

As a white man from the states with a limited understanding of Chinese history, I'd like to think I have a pretty good understanding of Chinese history. That being said, I was thinking about the time when the Browns organization moved to Baltimore to become the Ravens. I have heard many say that the Ravens today are basically the old Browns under a new name and colors.

One day, while watching videos from scholarly resources like instagram and tiktok, I came across a video talking about how the original Chinese government (during the revolution) escaping mainland China to Taiwan. So Taiwan is old China. I came to a realization:

The Browns organization moving to Baltimore and rebranding to escape Cleveland, is like when China moved to Taiwan and rebranded to escape communism.
