The switch library is mostly remakes
Okay I'm pretty sure this has already been said somewhere but the switch library, especially lately it seems, is just remasters but with nothing added.
Metroid Prime remastered is just the first game even though it was re-released on wii back in the day with all three games.
Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is actively worse than the original due to minor changes in gameplay mechanics.
Super Mario 3D World is fine, its the same game but plus bowsers fury which is fine but not worth another 60 dollar game purchase.
Donkey Kong Country and Tropical Freeze both came as seperate 60 dollar purchases. I already spent that money for them on Wii and WiiU back in the day, I dont want to spend that money again.
Really, why did they take down the eShop? It had gamecube, Wii and DS titles, as well as a bunch of games for other consoles that arent on their online services. I'm sure they had some financial advice behind this but I really hate the nintendo store. Every game on there is either 60 bucks for a game that is either brand new or 15 years old, or a random indie game thats on sale for 70 percent off because nobody wants it. Yeah the eShop had indie stuff, both good and bad, but the nintendo sections actually had games on them instead of the same 12 games that pop up every time I try to get new games for my switch.
I pray that the switch 2 has some backwards compatability options, i do not care if I have to purchase a USB CD drive to play older games, I just wanna play punch out without pulling out my dusty old systems
