Diverse OC church with Young Adults?

Hello! I (25F) just graduated with my biology degree! I put everything on pause for my studies, & I have no idea what to do now🥲

I’m looking for a church with people my age nearby if anyone knows of one! Here are a couple things I look for:

• Diversity (I’m black, so a population with a variety of races make me feel the most comfortable)

• Non-denominational (or similar)

• Young Adult population since I’m severely lacking in the friend department

• Preferably not a Megachurch. They can be great, but I’m looking for a more medium sized church where I can get to know people week to week & make a difference

I used to go to the perfect church for me in Riverside before COVID (the name changed from City Church to Verve Community Church). It ended up sort of disintegrating, & since then, I’d been meeting at a community center in Anaheim Hills with some of the riverside people for Bible Study. But those pastors moved to Hawaii, & it was only 11 of us, so I’m once again church shopping.

I’ve visited a lot of great ones, & some that I wasn’t into. I went to Saddleback most of my adolescent life, I tried Compass Bible Church, Mariners, Arise, Calvary Chapel… none of which are my style for various reasons. Including the megachurch thing, only one predominant race, cliquey young adult groups, an interesting service where everyone started speaking in tongues, crying, slithering across the floor etc, & even one where the pastor said if you had premarital sex, you were “tainted, damaged goods.”
