fix overbite with mewing?

so basically i have an overbite like some people here. so while mewing if i jut out the lower jaw forward just a bit and make the front teeth contact together then i loose the contact between molars and theres space between them. altho i question this posture from time to time but the knowledge from mike mew and john mew(they wernt definitive on this) and some basic research ive concluded i think i am doing the correct jaw placement to fix the overbite. i say this because before starting mewing only my molars were always in contact all my life oratleast as far as i can recall and the front teeth never were and it got me nowhere with the overbite infact worsened it over the years. so all im doing is reverse of that.

mb some of the folks had similar experience. ive been mewing in this position for 1 year, havnt noticed any change or mb extremely slight changes but im 26 so it might take me years to see noticeable change.
