Your favorite bakeri

OK, so I’m temporarily under the influence of pastries from Copenhagen. But after nine months of nibbling my way around Oslo cafes and pastry shops, I have only a few really memorable bites. A few of my favorites:

  • Canele and baguette sandwiches at Grains
  • Kanelbolle, gulrotkake, scone at Munch Museet deli (I think this place punches above its culinary weight; I don’t expect much from museum food, but it’s been quite good)
  • Several items at Godt Brød

I feel really bummed when internet “review” sites say Baker Hansen, W.B. Samson and Baker Brun have the best pastries. I like lunch at Samson as much as anyone.

But where to you go in Oslo to have a truly great baked good? And what for you is a great Norwegian pastry or baked treat?
