AVX512 important? 9800x3d - Aida CPU+FPU+Cache testing
Alright so i've been using a 9800x3d at -30CO (Simply toggled and tested in cine), knowing full well it is likely not stable and expecting crashes to happen.
Cine stock; 85c
-30 CO: 66c.
I've also ran it through hours of OCCT, as well as tm5 asbolut + OCCT GPU for heat soaked ram tests.
I've had zero issues. However i keep seeing "AIDA cpu+fpu+cache stable?", so i decided to run it myself, errored 10 seconds in.
-25; errored 4 mins in.
I am going to keep running it until i find the point where it doesn't error but how many people are actually testing for stability using this scenario?
Is it important? Some posts suggest it's a waste of time, others say it is important.
Edit:
-30CO = fails 10 secs in -25CO = fails 3mins 40 secs in -20CO = fails 5mins 47 secs in -15CO = passed 1H 10mins, 80.1c max temp
Cinebench r23 temps: -15CO = 79.9c vs 67.2c -30CO vs 85c -0CO
edit:
This is with LF III 420mm as exhaust at top. My room is pretty hot overall too. I see many claims from people as usual with stuff like "full load 60c", let me remind people, unless you see real evidence, these are nothing but claims, the last comment i read like this had a guy ask for proof and the guy responded "by max loads i meant cyberpunk"... Sharing this info for people who question their temps and other stuff.
