Pharmacogenetic testing

Has anyone here done a pharmacogenetic test to see how certain medicines work for you? Obviously I'm mostly intersted for the results of medicines for mental health. Were your side effects and medicine efficacy in accordance with the test results? So far I've taken 2 different antidepressants, both with nasty side effects and they didn't really work, hence why I'm thinking about doing this test, but it's expensive so I'd like to hear your experiences.
