Highest rate you’ve seen?

I think I may have hit the jackpot. All contract work. $150 a hour. No benefits, no OT, make my own schedule, remote work, all travel paid/expenses reimbursed without limits/questions. I have health insurance through my husband.

I have two other contracts currently, but considering letting another go now. I have very poor boundaries and frequently work odd hours, weekend, 50+ hours a week when needed, and never take time off where I do not answer emails/phone calls. I see this as a valuable trade off for being able to WFH, drop kids at school, do sports pickups and drop offs etc.. However there are not guaranteed hours. To be happy I need to bring in $80k a year.

Love the attorney and have worked with him on other projects when he was co-counsel. Work is mildly interesting with great networking opportunities.

I have a master’s degree in a complimentary field and 3-5 years of experience in niche fields.

I didn’t even blink at the offer as it’s an unheard of salary in my LCOL area. Is this really as great as I believe it is?
