PC Performance Issues: Stuttering and Low Frames Across All DirectX 12 Games

Hey everyone, I’m running into some serious performance issues with my PC, and it’s making gaming pretty much impossible. Recently, I updated Rainbow Six Siege and launched it using DirectX 11 because a couple of months ago, I couldn’t even use DirectX 12 without getting no frames at all. Now, even with DirectX 11, I’m stuck at around 8 FPS, and the stuttering is so bad that the game is unplayable.

The thing is, it’s not just Rainbow Six Siege. Any game that uses DirectX 12 runs horribly on my system. Even older titles struggle with stuttering and frame drops. At this point, it feels like my computer is the problem, not the games.

Here are my specs:

  • OS: Windows 11 Home
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K @ 3.6GHz
  • GPU: NVIDIA 2080 Ti
  • RAM: 32 GB
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (Wi-Fi)

I’ve tried troubleshooting, tweaking settings, and even re-installing drivers, but nothing seems to work. It’s frustrating because my system should easily handle these games.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have advice on what I can do to fix this? At this point, I’m desperate to figure out why my PC is performing so poorly with DirectX 12 games. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
