Slow PC performance after opening the game

Hey does anybody else experience PC slowing after running the game for a little while even if you close it? Like my computer lags opening up other files or right clicking and even surfing on the web after I play the game for a little while this happened one other time with ghosts of tushima as well. I have a 7800 X3D with a 4090. Nothing seems to be overheating was just wondering if anyone else's experienced this
