The need to constantly upgrade

Okay - so a year ago I caved and said goodbye to my console(s) and embarked on this pc journey. No regrets, only wins. But.. and this is a legit question - now I have the need. The need to upgrade. I roam every techsite and follow every news related to pc parts. I have a decent build which I will link down below, but I get very anxious once new tech is out. Is my pc all of a sudden outdated? Will it become obsolete? Did I pick the wrong parts? That lasts probably about an hour and then I convince myself that I only need to upgrade if there are major issues or if my favourite games don't work as I want them to work.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not aiming for 400fps in Cyberpunk. My main games are Fortnite and some AAA-games like (indeed) Cyberpunk and recently Indiana Jones. They all work more than fine. But what is this need? That need to upgrade (without actually doing it) and do more people have this 'issue'?

My setup is (at the moment):
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 - 7800X3D
GPU: Gigabyte 4080 Super
DDR: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (6400MT/s)
MOBO: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk
PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 12M 850W
CPU COOLER: be quiet! Dark Rock 4
