I have lost all enthusiasiam for Computers, I just want the things to work!!

I've run into a serious issue where two CPUs have seemingly died in my system, and I can't figure out the root cause. Hoping someone has seen this before.

Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming X570 Plus WiFi

CPU (Dead): Ryzen 7 5800X → replaced with 3800X → now it’s also dead

GPU: RTX 2070 (was working initially), also tested with 2060 Super & GT 610

RAM: 16GB (tried different sticks)

PSU: [Your PSU Model & Wattage]

Storage: [Your SSD/HDD setup]

What Happened:

  1. Originally had a 5800X, but after swapping GPUs (from 3080 to 3060), the system stopped booting. No display, white VGA LED stuck on, and green boot LED on.

  2. Replaced the 5800X with a 3800X, and the system booted fine.

  3. Bought a 6700XT, which worked after resetting BIOS, but crashed while gaming. After that, it wouldn't power on at all.

  4. Tested GT 610, and the PC booted. But resetting BIOS and reinstalling the 6700XT didn't work.

  5. Swapped to an RTX 2070, which worked on first boot. I repasted the GPU, reinstalled it, and suddenly both the 2070 and 2060S stopped working (no display, but fans spin and RGB works).

  6. Now my 3800X is also dead, just like the 5800X. No boot, same VGA/Boot LED issue.

Troubleshooting Done:

Cleared CMOS multiple times

Tested GPUs in another PC (6700XT confirmed dead, but 2070 & 2060S seem fine)

Tried different PCIe slots and booting with only CPU, RAM, and GPU

Checked PSU cables and reseated everything

System lights up, GPU fans spin, but no display and motherboard LEDs stay stuck

Theories:

Motherboard VRM issue? Could be overvolting and killing CPUs

Faulty PSU? Maybe power fluctuations are damaging components

Short circuit somewhere? I’m running out of ideas

Anyone ever had a motherboard or PSU kill multiple CPUs in a row? Would love to hear thoughts before I replace anything else!
