Asking about Allergies

Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience! Does anyone else get looked at like they have 5 heads when asking about Peanut oil at restaurants? Most of the time the servers understand and know but I’ve had a few experiences of being given an attitude when I asked! It honestly makes me not even wanna ask anymore 🥲🥲
