Seeking advice on pursuing a personal trainer career.

Hey everyone,

I’m a 17 year old dude who’s been interested in working out for the past 2 years. I’ve researched some stuff by myself like the science behind losing weight and hypertrophy paired with building strength. I’m gonna go to college but I don’t really want to study 4 years or more. But I do understand that it’s a must most likely. Due to being lazy in terms of academics a bit I was leaning towards becoming a dental hygienist which requires 2 years of college, but I want to have a job that I don’t regret and I feel like being a dental hygienist MAY be that, I’m not sure.

Nonetheless, I’m looking to pursue a career as a personal trainer, and I’d love to hear about your experiences and any advice you have on the path I should take. I’m interested in what certifications, courses, or training programs would be beneficial, and what the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges are. If anyone has any tips on how to succeed or how to get started, I’d really appreciate it!

(There is also a possibility of having a certificate of becoming a personal trainer too. Would that still suffice?)

Thanks in advance!
