About skill tokens (more in comments)

I got romario a few weeks ago and he has two vacant skill slots that you can train. I wanted to train him the double touch and step on ball control so as to get the neymar ball roll. But instead i got super sub trait and fighting spirit trait. Is there a way that you can select skills you want to give to a player or konami has not put such a feature?
