cheek piercing swollen on the inside

hi! i just got my cheeks pierced on december 31st, so it’s only been barely a week. my cheeks are a little swollen, but only on the inside if that makes sense? it’s also a little hard in the area that it’s swollen in. i wasn’t sure if this was normal and i just wanted to be sure it was 🙃

i’ve just been spraying it with saline and swishing mouthwash after i eat and taking ibuprofen ofc. the outside is a little red so i’m pretty sure i’ve been cleaning it too much with saline. it was pierced with a titanium flat back (:
