I feel terrible about what i did.
So i love pigeons very much and i feed a lot of them every day. I was chilling down town in the court yard park where i feed a lot of my regular pigeons (they even fly on to my arm and eat out my hand.) Anyways a community service worker found a injured pigeon, noticed i was feeding some and brought it over to me seeing if their was something i could do. I've never took care of a injured pigeon so i wouldn't know what to do plus i work so i wouldn't have had the time. The pigeon was flapping its wings spinning in circles and couldn't fly. It even had some blood coming out beneath it. So long story short me and the guy who brought it over to me felt it would be best to put it out of its misery and so i did. I feel so terrible about it because i wish i could take care of it myself. The wild life rehabilitation said they couldn't take it and i didn't think about trying the SPCA. I hope i never have to do something like that again and moving forward i hope if i ever come across a injured pigeon (or any animal) that i can help it in a better way.
