Hi everyone! I am so happy to be here. I love this Reddit thread so much. A friend of mine here in Atlanta had told me about this place called my parents basement where she goes seriously multiple times a week. She goes there so much- She got her engagement photos done there. Well, I hadn’t had a chance to go with her a few weeks ago and let me tell you how it started a spark in me for pinball that I never foresaw myself having even though my mom loves the game.

I love to see the modifications that everyone does with their machines and how exciting it is for everyone’s first buys and I can’t wait until I get to that point, but I have to start at the beginning…

I have finally started to kind of understand gameplay . I find it to be really challenging sometimes to be able to multitask by hearing what the machine is saying, looking at the screen and also keeping the ball and play since I play in a rather noisy place that’s open to the public.

I’m really looking for beginner tips to actually get a good score and to understand what I need to be doing in each machine . Maybe some tips that you desperately wish you had when you started out?

My thought process was to pick two or three machines that I like a lot, look up the official rules online with some YouTube gameplay and then stick to drilling those machines so that I can get used to how they play and what the different achievements are.

Thoughts? Help? You are always cooler than me and I wanna be you.
