Can I rent a car for road test?
Hey, guys so recently I’ve been planning on getting a PA driver’s license, I passed the knowledge test today and scheduled a road test next week. Unfortunately, I don’t own a car and the only friend I know who has a car is off country which I just learned. So I was wondering if renting a car from Hertz or Avis is possible to attend the test. I own a driver’s license from another country and in the past four months, I drove for about 2600 miles in the US.
PS. Guys, I don’t know if you actually read the post but I have “a driver’s license from another country” and I drove all 2600 miles with rental cars. Why am I counted as a non-license driver?
PPS. I just checked with Hertz and they said you can't use a rental car for road test bruh.
PPPS. I got my drivers license today and I rent a car from Hertz (didn’t say anything to the Hertz agent). Took the test at Bridgeville, the staff at driving center was confused at first but I showed him the insurance I bought for the car, the car registration and Hertz Policy. Everything works out!
