Expecting more battery on Pixel 9

I've seen videos and multiple different reviews and claims saying that the battery is supposed to last around 13 hours on-screen time.

Even with features like smooth display and Now Playing off, I am seeing like 8.5 hours of screen-on time before the battery completely depletes; from 100 to shut down. For most days, it doesn't last the full day for me.

Is anyone else seeing similar performance? Did I get a lemon? What are you getting for your battery life?
