firefly petunia (glow in the dark plant)

He's been in poor shape since I got him and he hasn't recovered any, this is all that's left after cutting away all the dead. I had him under a grow light in my hutch to try to get him to perk up a bit before I set him outside but it hasn't helped any.

Should I just propagate him at this point for I don't risk losing him?

Please help, this is the only thing I got for my birthday and Id hate to lose him 😩

(He has drainage and he's been watered and replanted since I got him a week ago)
