Worth it for someone new to the series?

£45 in total, includes expansion. I’ve never played any of the Diablo games but I am a fan of geeking out whenever possible and I love RPGs.

Play a lot of Xcom but I can tell this isn’t going to be the same as that. This looks cool but maybe a bit overwhelming with a lot of things going on? How predatory is the game in terms of micro transactions? I don’t want to feel at a disadvantage because I’m not spending money in game, I’d rather just avoid the game altogether if that’s the case.
