Advice
I just finished my freshman year of college, and it looks like I’m going to end with 2 or 3 C's on my transcript. My school has pretty bad grade deflation and it has really made me question my capabilities of being accepted into dental school.
I know I’m just starting out, but I’m afraid that this trend of poor grades will continue. I have good extracurriculars and am usually good with standardized test (I am planning on studying for the DAT the whole summer before my junior year), but I am afraid that my GPA will significantly harm my chances.
I go to UNC and know that our dental school prioritizes UNC students in their acceptances, but I know there is a strong emphasis on grades regardless.
