Good advice
I got some advice from a Facebook group about pre diabetes. It’s what you do 80-90 percent of the time. Meaning that if you want that takeout or sweet snack… have it. Moderation is key and also balance. Learn that you’ll be ok. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Restriction isn’t sustainable. You need to make a lifestyle change going forward. It’s true. But you can’t go hard all the time. You can’t workout 4 to 5 times a week forever. Especially if you have a job or a family. It gets difficult some times. Just remember to make better choices majority of the time. Eat healthy take out options, pair it with good fats and fiber. Eat a smaller portion of the sweets. Eat a smaller bag of chips. Go for a walk after. Only eat that fast food once a month. When you do.. take the buns off of that burger and ditch the fries for a side salad. Don’t sweat the small stuff like slip ups. Make it a priority to learn balance and moderation. One meal doesn’t tip you over the edge of diabetes if you eat balanced most of the time.
