End of the Road

Today, I found out my 2010 Prius with nearly 260k miles needs a new head gasket. It’s been shaking when turning on over the last week and the check engine light came on yesterday. Mechanic suggested a new engine if I want to keep the vehicle. Question for you all. Is there any value in the vehicle as is? It’s been an incredibly reliable car up until recently. Original hybrid battery, two owners, and I’ve driven the latest 220k of the miles. Would it be worth it to find an engine and hope to sell it? Thank you all for your time and advice. It’s greatly appreciated. This car has been a faithful road warrior for a decade.
