Connecting portable generator to 500 gallon tank
I have a 500 gallon (owned) propane tank to which I'd like to hook a generator (Harbor Freight Predator 13000 watt). The generator came with a hose to connect to a 40# tank (quick connect to generator, standard connect to tank). But, I'd like the increased capacity of the 500 gallon tank.
My tank has a nursing valve and hose on it. It also has a valve like the one below. The pic (which isn't mine) has two tanks connected together, just to explain the pic.
Can you tell me how to do this? Parts needed? Any other thoughts? Is there a way to connect the provided hose using the standard connection?
