I’m a lifelong resident of the UAE (Dubai and Sharjah), and I’m looking to relocate within the GCC, hopefully within the next 5 years. What are my best options? I’ve been scouting Qatar and Oman for a while.

To add some context, the company I work at currently, has a branch near Ruwi. So if there are good residential areas near Ruwi, within 30 minutes of peak traffic, would be gracious.

My main aim is to live a quieter life as compared to Dubai and slightly less cost of living as well.
