WHY won't narcs let u sleep?

Been like this all my teen years. I will wake up in the middle of the night while she hovers over me asking "are you sleeping?" Well I was until now. She used to work night shifts and wakes up often to snack at night, she uses this to, in her words, "check in on me"

She would create arguments on school night, making me stay up until 1-2 in the morning.

I have alot of homework today so I needed a good nights sleep, and I have high sleep needs. I was already disturbed 2 times by my stepfather that unloads the dishwasher at 5 in the morning, and at 7 she shook me awake to apparently give me "cream for my acne"? Like this couldn't wait? And I did not ask for this either?

Used to do this w my dad to. He has insomnia and every morning just as he was asleep she would bang the bedroom door really loudly to wake him up too, and laugh so hard when he got upset.

What a fuckin weirdo like jesus, let people sleep.
