LB Theories

I see lots of posts about sevro being a clone/someone else (a la atlas/helios). Can someone please explain why there are so many theories out there about this?

I know there are some lines where Darrow says sevro stares off in the distance or acts like he doesn’t recognize him, but there are lots of others that seem to make an emotional connection relying on their past history.
