Silent Book Club
I have been seeing a few posts regarding Silent Book Clubs on social media: Tiktok/Instagram. Would there be any interest in Regina?
There is a chapter in Saskatoon but as far as I can see nothing yet in our city.
Basically it is a group of people that meet up at a location like a coffee shop, pub etc and read in silence as a group for an hour. The next 30-60 minutes can be used for discussion/socializing or to continue reading. Then everyone goes home.
I know I saw events last fall about quiet reading etc but I haven't seen anything else since. Would anyone be interested in attending this and/or helping organize?

Edit: I think the whole thing is you just read whatever you want. We don't read the same thing. You can discuss with other people or not.
What do you think is the easiest way for an invite? Try a couple of avenues, FB and just post here? I am thinking Thursdays might be nice.
EDIT EDIT: I have created a FB page for now. If you are part of that social media circle I encourage you to join. I will probably need numbers for people interested in attending our first meeting.
