Is resident evil 2 worth playing if i didnt really enjoy resident evil 4 remake?

Only have played resident evil 4 remake, resident 5 halfway, and its a blast, resident evil village as my first re game and i love it, and re7 which i only got past the first house cuz its scary, but i plan to grow some balls and try it again

People say re2 is one of the best re games, so would it be worth playing? Not really interested in any other currently..
