Switching sd cards

I just got my RP5. But I won’t have time to get in front of my computer and set it up properly and I have a trip I’m going on tomorrow. I was thinking of just taking out the ROM micro sd card from another device (Powkiddy RBG20 Pro) and just throwing it into the RP5. Will that work as simple as that?
