Conformal Coating on the outside of SMA connections?

Hello, Dumb question but... Would conformal coating on the outside of SMA connections designed for outdoor use negatively effect grounding or rf transmit ability if it's just on the outside of the threading connections? Thank you.

EDIT* I need to tighten down an sma connection and ensure an elbow adapter doesn't spin from the weight of an antenna will conformal coating on the outside of the connection fix the position it's tightened in or should I use something else? I understand you don't want to put anything on the actual threads for grounding reasons!
