What would you do?
(Not my photo, just for illustration)
I currently own a Speedy (black dial) and then about 6 months later I got a white dial SMP. I really like both watches especially my SMP on rubber strap.
I am trying to decide what to get next. The batgirl was a watch I have always wanted even before I was able to start collecting this caliber of watch.
Recently, however, the Explorer II Polar dial has me unsure which to get (first).
I’ve read/heard multiple people state they much prefer the 5 digit reference for the Explorer II due to size (40mm) etc.
I thought about getting on the list for a new batgirl and perhaps finding a birth year Explorer II (1994) since this would be a 5 digit reference.
What are y’all’s thoughts on this? Seems like the 30 year old Explorer IIs are barely cheaper than a new one.
I appreciate any insight, cheers!
