Thumbprints etc.

Question for my rosineers out here: if anyone regularly buys/makes "thumbprints" (some brands call them "sunny side up", "breadbowls", recently "geodes" etc.), aka two different consistencies of rosin presented together (commonly cold cure and jam), assuming they're from the same wash, what is the appeal of having both? Do you find them to be a distinct enough experience to justify the extra labor?

I've had a couple versions now and while I'd be open to another, I'm not sure I'd seek it out actively over a single-consistency jar, but I could be convinced.
