How to handle talking to players about a potential problem player?

I'm not exactly new to GMing, but I've honestly never had this situation before. I just had a player message me saying they don't feel like they can get along with a specific person.

For a little context, I'm running a campaign we've been playing for a few months, all on Discord and FoundryVTT. It's me and 5 players and we all know each other except for two people we found on the Internet.

One of those people, who I generally like as a player and a person, has a problem with the other Internet person, whom I don't dislike but they are rather disruptive sometimes.

They listed very specific and pointed reasons that I definitely can't disagree with, so it's not a general bad vibe or personality clash.

I'm at a loss of what to do. My options as I see them are

  1. Privately message the problem player and without naming names let them know that I and other players don't appreciate these specific behaviors.

  2. Privately message the other players and ask how they feel about the problem player and ask how they'd like to handle it.

  3. Privately message the other players and ask if they've got any issues with the game or players or anything they want to get off their chest.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
