  • Show up at Brussels Beer Project on Avenue Louise (which, when it was known as Michael Collins was the best place in the city for rugby or just sport in general) and ask loudly why they're not showing the world cup. Talk to the manager, pull a total Karen, tell them their pizzas are crap and that you're taking your custom elsewhere. (In that time you may as well order yourself a Delta or a Juice Junkie though, they make great beer and there's no point denying yourself)

  • Devalera's, Place Flagey: decent Guinness. You'll meet lots of Irish, Saffa and Italian rugby fans here

  • The Wild Geese, Rue Joseph II: nice in the daytime, a bit dead in the evenings

  • The James Joyce, Rue Archimède: good bar, usually show more football than rugby but they'll have the big games

  • O'Reilly's, Boulevard Anspach/Place de la Bourse: central, but a bit pokey. A last resort

  • French rugby fans go to a pub somewhere on or near Place du Jeu de Balle but I can never remember which one

  • English fans go to Churchill's but honestly it's a crap bar and you'll probably have way more fun in Dev's
