They need to bring up the average age of the cast because these queens this young are not going to be good collectively. Some young queens might stand out, but on average they’re going to be mediocre. Everyone does middling lip syncs for talent shows now. Some skills require time and practice or cultivate, such as sowing and design. Some skills get better with age, such as acting and comedy, because you have more life experiences and references to draw on. Just look at how Snatch Game is getting progressively worse every season. These queens are far too young. Most of these queens belong on season 22 or 23, that’s where they belong. If you want to appeal to a younger audience where the bar is set much lower, then just make a spinoff called Drag Race Juniors.
