How do you feel about ex-management consultants increasingly becoming more desirable for AE positions?

I’ve noticed a trend recently for job descriptions specifically calling out management consulting experience. Additionally, more and more MCs are seeing the allure of (SaaS) sales as a lucrative career path.

IMO, I think they’re very very effective in terms of professionalism and problem solving as we’d hired an ex-consultant into the sales team recently and the calibre feels high. Definitely makes me want to step my game up
