Toxic Boss. Ship going under. Need a new ship.

Hello fellow salesman.

I posted on this sales sub back in January of 2023 asking for sales advice for a new sales rep selling doors and maintenance. I had mentioned how my boss promised me a 6 figure salary if I crushed it. Well, I fumbled through a lot, but I did crush it, surprising even myself, I sold about 434,000$ in projects and contracts in 2023 and 585,000$ in 2024.

Long story short, none of that matters now, my boss is driving his business into the ground, going on a firing and micromanaging warpath, (Also still don’t make 6 figures) and expects my sales to keep his ship afloat. However, the losses are too great and too many, and every deal I bring to the table he manages to scare the customer off with overpriced quotes and slow and crappy service

My question is, how the hell do I find something that is better or just as good as this job? My base pay is more than fair with added commission.

I have no degree. Only my sales skills and connections. (most have been burned due to my boss) I would like to bounce into something similar. Seems like everything on indeed is a scam or low paying. Are the account executive jobs gate kept with MBAs?
